Naarm/Melbourne based producer, DJ and synthesiser aficionado Harvey Sutherland is a musical force to be reckoned with.
Across his decade long career, Mike Katz has solidified himself as one of Australia's most wizard like electronic artists. His music has always grounded itself in supreme taste and influences, taking him to the heights of contemporary music including festival appearances at Glastonbury, Nuits Sonores, Pukkelpop and Meredith Music Festival, collaborations with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and many more
Earlier this year he released his critically acclaimed and stellar debut album Boy, which was recorded between London, LA and his own studio. The album is a transcending experience into the playful world of Katz, as he showcases his distinct sound, one driven to a hypermodern version of funk music. With it, he moulds together dance music through an array of influences, combining the genre with New York boogie and 80's coldwave.
Off the back of the record he has performed across the country on a nationwide tour, hitting cities Brisbane, Byron Bay, Sydney, Melbourne’s RISING, Hobart, and Adelaide alongside a string of major festival appearances. Most recently he released the deluxe edition of the album, which featured remixes from the likes of Adrian Sherwood, I. JORDAN, Martyn Bootyspoon, DJ Plead and Vanessa Worm.
He's about to bring his show with a string of DJ sets in Sydney,an all night affair at Mary's Underground this Friday (info HERE) and as a part of Sydney All Nighter at vinyl record bar Rekodo (info HERE).

DJ Python - Angel
Balaerics-via-Highland Park anthem from Python - a bit of a Mood Hut flavour but with his own woozy minimalist style. Big fan of all his output, but especially his recent appearance on How Long Gone.
