Greentea Peng - Spells

After releasing 'Hu Man', 'Revolution' and 'Ghost Town' earlier this year as well on The Streets' 'I Wish You Loved You As Much As You Love Him', Greentea Peng continues her hot streak with an utterly blissful new single titled 'Spells'. Pairing her sublime voice with a shuffling, gentle and warm beat courtesy of KIKO and Samo, 'Spells' is all about not only the journey to self acceptance, but also something much more. "Its about the idea of casting spells with negative language and behaviours we adopt and use about/ towards our peers. Words are vibrations at the end of the day and it's called S P E L L I N G for a reason," Greentea Peng said. Words to remember, and this magical single is a beautiful reminder indeed.

davey - I FALL (Ft. Aalok Bala)

davey, the solo project of Vallis Alps' David Ansari, has unleashed his self-titled EP today. Including 'Not Me' ft Sol and N.I.4.N.I, the EP is a propulsive, forward-thinking, ambitious and defiant body of work which showcases just how far you can go when you throw out the rule book and just make what you feel. It's got techno, hip hop, glitch pop, house and so much more, and is a total masterclass in Ansari's seemingly endless creativity. 'I FALL' is a highlight in an EP absolutely full of them, and sees davey team up with Aalok Bala for what is a bit of an outlier on the EP sonically and conceptually. It's a moment of introspection and reflection in among the chaos and the storm, and is a song that continues to reveal itself after multiple listens. We can't get enough.

Kymie - Innocent

Taken from her new EP, Indecision, also out today, Kymie is rounding out the year with a very impressive body of work. We've already heard 'Name Pt. 2' featuring Kwame, and now we get the whole EP which is a snapshot into why she is a serious artist to watch. 'Innocent' kicks off the EP, and sets the scene depicting not only how hard Kymie has been working honing her craft this year, but also laying the foundation for her to commence a new chapter in her journey. All eyes should be firmly locked on Kymie as we go into 2021.

Enny x Jorja Smith - Peng Black Girls Remix

In October, we were introduced to Enny, the most recent signee to Jorja Smith's label FAMM. She made a brilliant first impression with 'Peng Black Girls', and now she's gone one step further by recruiting none other than her labelhead for a guest appearance on a very special remix. Smith doesn't miss a beat, holding her own on the downtempo but vibey track, offering up a rap verse and absolutely stunning singing, matching the already exceptional energy of Enny. It's a total winner!

Agung Mango & Nikodimos - TUMMERLY RUMBERLIN (Ft Eissa)

Rising star Agung Mango has unveiled a collaborative project today titled SON OF AGUNG. Teaming up with producer and multi-instrumentalist Nikodimos, the nine-track release is a bold and daring body of work which soundtracks both artists stepping outside their comfort zones to make timeless, creative and genreless music. Encompassing elements of hip hop, jazz, soul and more, it's impressive from start to finish and shows once again there really is no one doing it quite like Agung Mango right now. The whole EP deserves a listen from start to finish, but 'TUMMERLY RUMBERLIN' is a particularly arresting moment in the journey. There are big things bound for Agung Mango!

Kult Kyss - Kill That Beat

We can all do with some dancefloor-oriented escapism, and thankfully we can always count on Kult Kyss to deliver the goods! Unleashing their latest anthem titled 'Kill That Beat' today, it's another gritty, glittery, all-encompassing slice of dance pop perfectly made for letting it all out in some catharic movements wherever you might be. They said of their new single, “In the wake of such a challenging year we wanted to create a dose of something fun and cathartic; a track that makes you move, that frees the heart and mind. ‘Kill That Beat’ is tenacious, plucky, unwavering and upbeat. It is a song dedicated to perseverance and grit.” We couldn't have said it better ourselves, turn this one up loud!

Jack Grace - The Pavement

The third single for the enigmatic Jack Grace this year comes in the form of one of his most heartfelt yet. Titled 'The Pavement', he said it's all about coming to "terms with where my life has gone and thinking about the search for inner peace," and once again displays his sentimental musicianship, and his ability to sit in multiple worlds at once. It's nostalgic and personal and yet entirely relatable, and the gentle instrumentation makes for a warm and breezy moment of reflective bliss.

Commandeur - Numb Ft. Genes

A match made in electro pop heaven, Commandeur has tapped rising pop force Genes for a bonafide pop ANTHEM titled 'Numb'. Genes sounds utterly sublime over Commandeur's racing beats, his pounding drums keeping things chugging along nicely while futuristic synths and swelling atmospherics enter the fray to make for a retro-nostalgic dancefloor filler. Let's hope this isn't the last time we hear these two together!

Skeleten - Biting Stone

Having just launched his new project back in August, Skeleten is now two for two with his new single 'Biting Stone'. The new single also comes with the news he's signed to tastemaker label Astral People Recordings (Stevan, Wave Racer, Milan Ring), and proves there is plenty more still to come from him. 'Biting Stone' is a peculiar song borne from introspection. “I was thinking about how important it is to do things that aren’t necessarily good for you but deepen your world," Skeleten said. "Like the vibe of never leaving the party because you want another moment. I feel like it’s hard to experience transcendence if you’re too focused on your ideal self.” With an unhurried, shuffling drum line, tender vocals and soft, warm synths, 'Biting Stone' is another winner for Skeleten!
