Ahead of Splendour In The Grass and their sideshows supporting Riton & Kah-Lo, Antony & Cleopatra are here to make you move with their guest mix.
British/Australian duo ANTONY & CLEOPATRA have been firing on all cylinders for the past twelve months. With a consistently impressive stream of floor-filling singles that combine their mutual influences with a futuristic, forward-thinking approach to dance music, the duo have been gearing up to release their debut album later this year, and so far we are absolutely loving what we've heard.
From the vogue-worthy 'Twitch' to the infectious 'Dust', the duo have evolved and developed a sound that is so uniquely and naturally theirs, it's no wonder fans old and new everywhere have been absolutely rinsing these new tunes. Their most recent single, 'The Islands' again sees the pair embracing their uncanny knack of creating dancefloor-ready jams, upping the intensity to mimic the grind of a major city, and the song has put them in very good stead ahead of their upcoming Splendour In The Grass performance as well as two special sideshows supporting RITON & KAH-LO.
As if we needed any extra reasons to get in the mood for these shows, Antony & Cleopatra have put together a special 20 minute mix for us and our FBi Radio show this weekend, which is hopefully indicative of the infectious vibes they'll be laying down come July. You can catch the mix below, or tune into our radio show this Saturday from 5-6 on FBi Radio to hear it live. Turn your dial to 94.5 DAB+ if you’re in Sydney, or tune in anywhere at fbiradio.com
