In a trans-continental collaboration, BORN DIRTY and ANNA LUNOE have teamed up for the ultimate feel-good anthem with 'Badass'. A collab that sees each artist bring their bonafide A-game to the task, they've created a tune that will get you strutting and feeling yourself in no time.
"Walk in the club, feel badass/ Yeah look at me, I'm badass," is the hook I didn't know I needed so much until right now. Over a bouncy house beat, the energy is palpable as Born Dirty and Anna Lunoe hit the pedal to the metal, immediately launching into the infectious and upbeat song. Encapsulating the essence of what both artist think everyone should feel like when they rock up to the club, the song is complete with a bass-y breakdown and high-octane vocals to have you singing this over and over for days on end.
Speaking of the track, Lunoe said, “It just basically encapsulates how I want people to feel: free, bold, spirited and enjoying the hell out of every moment they have on this planet. To me, my favourite tracks are the ones with a sense of humour about them. Yes they are bangers, but its light hearted - and that’s what is behind this track. Having a moment thinking you’re the shit.” For Born Dirty, he expressed how much he loved working with Anna on this track, calling it the "perfect blend of fun, quirkiness, good vibes and club heat!”

Anna Lunoe further divulged how the pairing came to be, saying, “I started playing Born Dirty on (my Beats1 Radio Show) HYPERHOUSE around early 2016 and he’s always made some of the most interesting house music. I invited him over one day we instantly hit it off. We actually started a few demos when I was pregnant, but it was too hard writing for me then, so we waited and re-approached it this year. It was a total team effort and I love how cheeky the track turned out.” Out now via SWEAT IT OUT! and MAD DECENT, this is the dancefloor heater with a whole lot of attitude that you need right now!
