Travis Scott has released a new, re-imagined version of his 2016 hit 'Goosebumps', teaming up with Spanish producer HVME.
In mid-2020, Spanish producer HVME (pronounced "Hume") released a remix of Travis Scott's enormous hit, 'Goosebumps'. What followed was a hit of his own, with his re-imagining of the 2016 hit amassing over 123 million streams worldwide, averaging over a million streams PER DAY since its release. Now, Scott has officially joined forces with HVME and Epic Records for a new release of the hard-hitting remix, which is sure to garner even more listens for the streaming juggernauts.
With a propulsive bassline, wavy, edited vocals and heavy influence from the trap sounds in the original, this version of 'Goosebumps' is custom made for packed and heaving dancefloors and adequate soundsystems. Released hot on the heels of yet another banner year in 2020 for Travis Scott, it looks like this year will be no different for La Flame. 2020 saw him release 'FRANCHISE' featuring Young Thug and M.I.A as well as teaming up with McDonald’s for the franchise’s first celebrity-endorsed meal in decades. He was tapped for the lead single for Christopher Nolan’s film, Tenet and made guest appearances on Rosalia‘s ‘TKN’, Kanye West‘s ‘Wash Us In The Blood’. He also teamed up with Kid Cudi on ‘The Scotts’, and jumped on Big Sean‘s recent album, ‘Detroit 2’. A renowned workhorse and perfectionist, the rapper, producer and entrepreneur was also the subject of a Netflix documentary in 2019 titled Look Mom I Can Fly, which gave fans all over the world a sneak peek into his life.
