We've all got our favourite beverages. I'm not impartial to a good ol' Victoria Bitter. LOVE DELUXE loves a bit of Campari and coke. So much so, that his next single is dedicated to the beverage and where there's a smooth drink, there's an equally as smooth visual aesthetic to be found, something that he's really tapped into with the clip.
The single is the second he's released this year, following his reptilian-odyssey in 'Dance Of The Lizard People. The new one from him also comes with the announcement of his forthcoming second EP, Fata Morgana, set to be out Friday, August 2 via Soothsayer.
'Campari And Coke' opens up an entirely new world of sound for Love Deluxe. An array of bongos drive forth what becomes a shuffling beat, the percussion leading the charge for this carbonated number.

Of the track, Love Deluxe said “Since starting this project, I’ve always wanted to dedicate a song to my favourite drink, and when writing ‘Campari’ in the studio, it came together much the same as the songs namesake. A few simple elements, mixed just right and voilà, you’re transported somewhere else in a heady daze. Like the drink, the song is a little kooky, a little bitter and a lot of fun. Drink it in.”
The clip bottles up this same element of wackiness captured in the track, and sees Madeleine Purdy back on board for the directing of this one.
