With all the New Year period festival lineups being announced now, there was one more summer festival that NSW anxiously awaited – MOUNTAIN SOUNDS festival.
Mountain Sounds Festival delivered the goods once again this year, expanding from a one-dayer to an overnight affair and thus bringing even more talent to the NSW Central Coast.

I went along to experience the second addition of Mountain Sounds Festival on the weekend, which featured some highly enjoyable performances by ALISON WONDERLAND, TOUCH SENSITIVE, THE KITE STRING TANGLE, DZ DEATHRAYS, NORTHEAST PARTY HOUSE and many more.
We went on a road trip to Mountain Sounds Festival over the weekend and had a chat to Zach and Jack from NORTHEAST PARTY HOUSE, prior to them forcing the crowd into a dancing frenzy during the late afternoon of the event.
This weekend we’ll be witnessing the return of Mountain Sounds Festival, which successfully debuted last year on the Central Coast in New South Wales.
We went on a road trip to Mountain Sounds Festival on Saturday to witness the likes of BALL PARK MUSIC, SNAKADAKTAL, WORLD’S END PRESS, WORDLIFE, THE HOLIDAYS, COSMO’S MIDNIGHT and many more play at the new boutique event on NSW’s Central Coast.
The initial buzz surrounding the grounds made it evident that Mountain Sounds Festival had been anticipated for quite some time.
The inaugural Mountain Sounds Festival took place on the Central Coast last Saturday, which saw performances from a strong variety of bands and DJs including BALL PARK MUSIC, YACHT CLUB DJs, COSMO’S MIDNIGHT, SNAKADAKTAL (who have since announced they’re calling it quits), STICKY FINGERS, WORDLIFE and many more.
