Live Review: JPEGMAFIA shares new RnB single, 'BODYGUARD!'

Following on from March's 'COVERED IN MONEY!' and February's 'BALD!', Maryland artist JPEGMAFIA is back with another new single this month titled 'BODYGUARD!'. A down-tempo, lo-fi RnB track, JPEGMAFIA not only produced this song but also directed the accompanying visuals as well.

Simplistic but effective, the video for 'BODYGUARD!' is shot through some sort of see-through blue object and focuses solely on Peggy himself as he croons and dances around. Singing directly to someone who sees through his tough exterior, it's a short but sweet addition to his run of singles this year, and a very exciting one at that. Showing yet another new side to himself and his creativity, Peggy consistently evolves as an artist and is never complacent in remaining in one spot for too long.

JPEGMAFIA is continuing his hot streak after his critically acclaimed 2019 album, All My Heroes Are Cornballs, catapulted him from underground rapper to alt-hip hop fame. Listen to 'BODYGUARD!' below.
