Melbourne artist Ash Kennedy has burst on the scene with her debut single 'Point Of View'; a bedroom-floor pop flourish about a spur of the moment love affair with a lifelong friend during a boozy night. Wearing influences on her sleeve for this debut release, Ash blends the sounds of Lianne La Havas, H.E.R and Tori Kelly to create something unique and personal.

A well known local in the Melbourne scene, previously performing alongside talents including Thando, JAYDEAN and ALLIPHA, Ash has kept that community close partnering with Melbourne duo Rob Amoruso and Ben Oldland to produce the track. Together the three have crafted a tune that perfectly encapsulates the electric atmosphere of feelings bubbling up and exploding to the surface.

“Point Of View was born on the floor of my bedroom with my guitar. It's an ode to all the guys I’ve liked and never told them, a prediction of what could have happened if we gave it a shot,” said Ash.

An incredible introduction to the bright and thoughtful personality of Ash Kennedy, 'Point Of View' invites listeners into her intimate personal bubble where she dishes her deepest dreams and most embarrassing secrets to a killer beat and sweet melody.
