Melbourne/Naarm songwriter, musician, and producer Eden Altman unveiled his new project, Eastward, recently, and this week he shares another new single titled 'Infinity Sky'. A kaleidoscope of soaring electronica and chopped vocals, this latest single is a flurry of organic and digital textures with uplifting production and instrumentation and is sure to lift spirits. It's also being released alongside some fittingly transportive visuals, which we're thrilled to be premiering today.

'Infinity Sky' came to fruition on a flight to Germany in early 2020, before the pandemic hit. "I continued honing my tunes during the dreaded Melbourne Lockdown and tried to achieve a sound reminiscent to the tunes my wife introduced me to in the early Noughties," Eastward said.

The accompanying visuals make for a hypnotic watching experience, but it's what the visuals were made from that make the clip so special.

Eastward said of the video, "The video clip became an unintended tribute to a close childhood friend who passed away in December 2020 from a drug overdose. He was a Melbourne acid techno producer and all round creative maniac. Prior to the funeral, I opened a WhatsApp group so all our old mates near and far could upload pics, videos and music from our deceased friend. Some clips came through the feed of our dear mate at various raves we used to put on in the 90's. I asked if I could use the footage and together with the help of psychedelic visual artist "Electric Light Brigade" the clip came to being."
